BERLIN — The head of Germany’s armed forces counterintelligence company has apologized for publishing a file containing a scheme that failed to existing the sigh of Israel.
The company, known by its German acronym MAD, mentioned Thursday that the preliminary draft of its 2019 annual file erroneously depicted Israel in the the same coloration as neighboring Jordan.
The company mentioned the error became “straight away corrected” and an investigation became launched. The probe concluded that the error had been precipitated by “lack of diligence and insufficient quality support watch over” moderately than deliberate movement or political intent, MAD mentioned.
