SAN JUAN — Authorities inPuerto Ricoon Wednesday diagnosed a couple they are saying died when their catamaran caught on fire at a marina within the island’s southwest set.
Police said the victims that died Tuesday evening aboard their 42-foot catamaran named Omit Crawl from New Orleans, Louisiana were Accumulate and Ginna Tannehill. They were believed between 65 and 70 years former and from the U.S. mainland. A enviornment of origin modified into no longer instantly available.
Authorities said the fire began within the kitchen and that Accumulate Tanehill died from burns and his wife from smoke inhalation. They said the catamaran modified into docked on the Puerto Real Marina in Cabo Rojo.
