Professor Anthony Costello of University School London’s Institute for Global Effectively being has instructed that the UK “could seemingly look 40,000 deaths on this wave” of coronavirus cases.

He furthermore warned that the country was “going to face additional waves” of infections and acknowledged that the trend of a vaccine was key in the combat against the virus.

His comments came as the UK’s Effectively being and Social Care Committee heard evidence – by job of video link – relating to the govt.’s response to the coronavirus pandemic.
